GEETHA COVERS HER FACE WHEN PASSING FILLING STATIONS IN FEAR OF BEEN ASSAULTED

I cover my face when passing filling stations for fear of being assaulted – Geetha

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Geetha Kumarasinghe says she fears people will attack her as she walks past petrol stations.

“Today the fuel crisis has affected the whole country. When I am passing fuel stations, I close my face. I tell my driver to pass the station hurriedly for fear of getting assaulted. That is the situation in the country today,”  she said.

“The people are fed-up with this government. I have also engaged in politics for the past 12 years and eventually all that is left is disgruntlement,”  she said expressing her views to the media.
