Comments have been restricted from President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s official Facebook page.
In a Tweet, social media expert – Dr. Sanjana Hattotuwa has said, “I’ve studied Facebook accounts of MPs, PMs & Presidents since 26 Jan 2010. *No one* has restricted comments on their official profile before. Gotabaya Rajapaksa is 1st politician/President in SriLanka to disallow public commentary reflecting risible pushback & rising anger. Revealing.”
