SJB copying NPP manifesto: Handunnetti-
The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is copying the election manifesto which was launched by the National People’s Power (NPP) and it will be the second copy of the NPP’s manifesto, NPP politburo member Sunil Handunnetti said today.
Speaking at a rally in Kantale, he said the SJB was planning to launch its manifesto on August 22 and that they were now reading the NPP manifesto instead of preparing their own one.
“They have started reading our manifesto instead of preparing their own manifesto. Our manifesto is being downloaded mostly by SJBers. They are planning to launch their manifesto on August 22. They are now copying. Let’s see when it will be launched. The second copy of the NPP manifesto is coming next. They have no program or policy,” Handunnetti said.
He said those who claimed that the NPP has no plan, policy or program are now been perturbed after the launch of the NPP manifesto.
“They have become speechless now,” he added.
