Another scam by large scale rice mill owners revealed!
The Nadu and White raw rice containers imported by private traders with the approval of the government are being bought by several leading rice mill owners, according to reports from the Pettah Wholesale Market.
Market sources also say that these leading rice mill owners are buying the imported rice to mix with their rice and release it to the market later at a higher price.
However, wholesalers in Pettah say that they will lodge a complaint with the government in the future.
