Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva has issued a stern directive to national carrier – SriLankan Airlines, stating that the airline must demonstrate operational and financial progress within the next six months.

He has said this during a special discussion held at the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation today (March 11).

He warned that the failure to do so could jeopardize the jobs of approximately 6,000 employees.
