Bribery investigation on Rosy!
It is reported that the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has commenced an investigation into the alleged misappropriation of public funds and financial corruption committed by the Mayor of Colombo.
The complaint was lodged with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption by former Colombo Municipal Councilor Mahinda Kahandagama.
The MP had lodged a complaint with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption on October 23 last year against Mayor Rosy Senanayake.
The Secretary of the Commission had informed Kahandagama in writing on the 5th that it had decided to initiate an inquiry after studying the complaint.
