Tear gas and water cannon fired at IUSF protest ; Lahiru arrested
Tear gas and water cannons have been used to disperse IUSF protestors at Union Place, reports say.
The IUSF commenced a protest in Colombo today (18) calling for several demands.
Reports also say that several protestors including convener of the Inter University Students Federation – Wasantha Mudalige, were taken into police custody.
