Joseph Stalin, Mahanama Thero arrested
General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union – Joseph Stalin has been arrested, reports say.
It is reported that he was arrested for conducting a protest violating a court order on May 28th.
Meanwhile, another key “GotaGoGama” activist Mahanama Thero has also been arrested by police earlier this evening.
The Thera was arrested by the Kirulapone police over a protest held in front of the police station, reports say.
