New Commissioner General of Essential Services, appointed
Senior Administrative Officer – K.D.S. Ruwachandra has been appointed as Commissioner General of Essential Services by the President, the PMD states.
In addition, a former secretary of the Agriculture minister – Rohana Pushpakumara and Postmaster General – Ranjith Ariyaratne have been appointed as additional commissioners.
