Issuing of Kerosene from filling stations will be limited to 5 litres per customer per day with immediate effect.
The sales bureau of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has issued a circular to all Ceypetco agents in this regard, which comes in addition to a previous circular which stated that fuel should not be pumped into cans.
However, those engaged in fishing can obtain Kerosene after producing a genuine document issued from the ministry of fisheries.
