Sri Lanka has named the same squad that featured against the West Indies in the recently concluded T20I series for the upcoming T20Is against New Zealand. Both the T20 and ODI squads were officially released by Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday, with Charith Asalanka named as captain for both formats.
Meanwhile, for the ODIs, dashing left-hander Kusal Janith Perera has been recalled after 12 months, the only inclusion in the ODI squad, while all others remain unchanged from the recent West Indies series.
The rest of the ODI squad is consistent with players from their last assignment against the West Indies, with all retaining their places.
The two-match T20I series will be played on November 9 and 10 at Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.
