The Sri Lankan Rupee has slightly appreciated against the US Dollar today (Aug. 29) compared to yesterday, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka reported.

Accordingly, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 317.96 to Rs. 317.83, while the selling rate has increased from Rs. 329.52 to Rs. 329.54.

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated against several other foreign currencies, including Gulf currencies. (NewsWire)
