Gas distribution stalls! 
Litro Gas Company says it will have to suspend the release of domestic gas cylinders to the market from today (16).
It said that the gas stocks in their Kerawalapitiya yard had run out by yesterday afternoon.
However, Litro said that gas required for essential services including health and industrial purposes would be supplied.
A ship carrying 3,500 metric tons of gas to Sri Lanka has been anchored in international waters. The ship has been anchored for nearly a week and this situation has arisen due to the unavailability of dollars to clear the stock for gas.
