LITRO GAS COMPANY INTENDS SELLING ITS SHARES TO A INDIAN COMPANY TO RESOLVE THE DOLLAR CRISIS FOR IMPORTING GAS

Litro shares ownership to India!

A group including Indian nationals is reported to have inspected the premises of Litro Gas Company in Kerawalapitiya on November 22.

A senior official of the management of Litro Company accompanied the delegation to inspect the boundaries of the land belonging to the premises, including the Litro gas filling terminals.

According to internal sources, the company is planning to sell its shares to the Indian company to resolve the dollar crisis for importing gas.

It is also reported that there is no impediment to the sale of the shares acquired as an investment as the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation holds 100% ownership of Litro.
