Allowance for low income families, elderly
Cabinet approval has been granted to provide an additional allowance for low income families with disabilities and the elderly for a period of 03 months.
This was revealed by Minister Shehan Semasinghe during the Cabinet briefing today.
Meanwhile, a subcommittee has been set up to study the report of the expert committee appointed to draft a new constitution and make recommendations.
