Former Sri Lanka fast bowler Lasith Malinga has ended his brief stint as the bowling consultant with the Sri Lanka national team.

Malinga who currently lives in Australia, joined the team for the five match series.

“Nice to end the series with a win. Well played guys. I’vereally enjoyed working with SL’s young crop of fast bowlers over the last 3 weeks. There’s so much natural talent and potential to work with.I wish the team all the best for the upcoming India tour. Adios” Malinga tweeted.

Sri Lanka team will now head to India for the T20 series which will begin on Thursday.

SLC Ashley De Silva confirmed  that Malinga will not travel to India with the team.
