The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Politburo has granted permission to initiate disciplinary action against Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, MP S. B. Dissanayake said.

“The disciplinary committee of the SLPP had made a request to initiate action against Minister Rajapakshe as he has taken up a position with a different party and is carrying on with his activities. Based on this and several other reasons, the politburo granted permission to initiate disciplinary action against him,” Dissanayake said, addressing a SLPP media briefing today.
