Russia donates 55,000 mt of fertilizer
Russia has donated more than 55,000 metric tones of potassium chloride fertilizer to Sri Lanka to support the island’s agricultural sector.
The consignment was handed over to Sri Lanka’s Agriculture Minister K. D. Lalkantha at the Colombo Port by Russian Ambassador Levan Dzhagaryan.
The fertilizer produced by Russia’s Uralchem Group, aims to support Sri Lanka’s agricultural sector and strengthen food security, the Russian Embassy in Colombo said.
