Customs seizes narcotics over Rs.20 million
Officers of the Sri Lanka Customs Narcotics Division have seized Rs. 20 million worth of drugs when examining 9 parcels on suspicion during surveillance at the Central Mail Exchange.
These parcels were sent to addresses in Colombo, Mahiyanganaya areas from the Netherlands and upon investigations it was found that these addresses were fake.
Accordingly, 1985 ecstasy tablets were found in these parcels.
