Environment minister kicked out of Muslim Congress!
The Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) has decided to remove Nasir Ahmed, who was sworn in as the new Minister of Environment before President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa on the 18th.
Accordingly, the decision to oust him from the party was taken by the Supreme Council of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress which met yesterday (22).
Nasir Ahmed also supported the 20th Amendment to the Constitution and voted in favor of the government’s budget.
Disciplinary action against Nazir!
Leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Rauf Hakeem recently said that Nasir Ahmed, who was sworn in as the Minister of Environment, had violated party discipline and that disciplinary action would be taken against him.
