Mr. Reyaz Mihular, a member of the Sri Lanka Telecom PLC Board, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the state-owned Sri Lanka Telecom.
The appointment was made during a meeting of the SLT Board of Directors held today (20).Earlier today, his predecessor Rohan Fernando, had said that the Board of Directors had removed him from the post of Chairman of SLT.

The measures come in the midst of a proposed sale of shares and privatization attempts of the SLT.
