- Maldivian Expands Horizons: New Flight Route to Colombo, Sri Lanka, Starting April 25th, 2024
Maldivian will operate two weekly flights to Colombo, departing every Thursday and Saturday.
Maldivian, the flag carrier of the Maldives, has announced the commencement of its highly anticipated service to Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo, Sri Lanka, starting from April 25th, 2024.
This strategic expansion further solidifies Maldivian’s commitment to connecting the Maldives with key international destinations, enhancing travel options for passengers, and promoting cultural and economic exchange between the two nations.
Commenting on the launch of the new destination, Mr. Ibrahim Iyas, Managing Director of Maldivian said: “We have long waited to serve Colombo and bring both Maldives and Sri Lanka closer on business and leisure.
