Bandula tells all state media heads, directors to resign
Newly appointed Minister of media – Bandula Gunawardena has informed all director board members of state media stations to resign.
The announcement had come today evening (27), reports say.
Quoting a senior official at the ministry, ‘Lankadeepa’ reports that Director Board members of several state media institutions including the SLRC, SLBC and ANCL have been told to resign and that fresh Director Boards will be appointed soon after.
