New ministers sworn in
Several previous ministers in the Rajapaksa government have been sworn in again in fresh ministerial portfolios after the Cabinet, sans the Prime minister, resigned late last night (03).
The newly sworn in ministers are as follows :
Ali Sabry – Finance Minister
Dinesh Gunawardena – Education Minister
Prof. G. L Peiris – Foreign Affairs Minister
Johnston Fernando – Highways Minister
Earlier, the Presidential Media Division stated that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has extended an invite to all political parties to accept Ministerial portfolios in order to seek solutions to the prevailing national crisis.
