Did President, PM celebrate New Year?
This year not a single television channel gave live telecasts of the New Year rituals being conducted at the President’s or Prime Minister’s residence.
Previously, several television channels gave live telecasts of the New Year celebrations being held, especially in the home of the Prime Minister, on many occasions.
This year too Rupavahini had planned to give live telecasts from the Carlton House (Prime Minister’s residence), but it is reported that due to the huge public dissension towards the President and the Prime Minister, the plan was suspended.
