Galle Face non-partisan activists meet Sajith!
A delegation of non-partisan activists from Galle Face met Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa at the Opposition Leader’s office in Colombo this morning (14).
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa had assured them that the struggle will never be betrayed.
He had told the protesters that he and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya are working towards a program that is in line with the reforms demanded by the protesting people in the country.During the meeting the protesters had handed over a proposal containing their ideas to the Opposition Leader.
Sajith Premadasa had told them that he is sensitive to the demands of the protesters.He had said that his stand is also that the President should step down.
Premadasa has said that the SJB has remained steadfast in its efforts to bring back the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, abolish the executive presidency altogether and build legislative, executive and judicial powers through a system of restraint.
