Speaker announces to House of vacant MP seat
The Speaker informed the House in Parliament today (March 15) that Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) Member of Parliament Mohamed Sali Naleem has resigned from his parliamentary seat.
He said in a special statement in Parliament yesterday (March 14) that he resigned in order to contest the Eravur Municipal Council in the upcoming local government elections.Mr. Sally Naleem was elected to Parliament from the national list of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress.
