Namal absent at opening amid protest in Bandarawela
A group of people had conducted a protest demonstration near the Bandarawela town today (30) demanding fuel.
According to reports, the demonstration has hampered traffic along the Bandarawela – Badulla road and police are attempting to disperse the crowd.
Meanwhile, Sports minister – Namal Rajapaksa, who was scheduled to attend the opening of the Sports ground in Bandarawela, has been absent.
