29-yr old arrested over death of Atulugama child
According to reports, the suspect is a resident of the same area.
It is said that the suspect has reportedly confessed to committing the murder.
Meanwhile, the post mortem of the victim, that was conducted today at the Panadura Hospital, had revealed that the girl was not raped.
The body of the nine-year-old girl, Fatima Ayesha, who was reported missing from Atulugama area in Bandaragama since Friday morning, was found in a marshland located close to her home on Saturday evening (28).
