The sun will be directly above three areas of Sri Lanka at noon today, the Department of Meteorology stated.

The department stated that the sun will be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka until tomorrow (15), due to its apparent northward relative motion.

Thereby, the nearest areas of Sri Lanka over which the sun is overhead today are Kiranchi, Kokavil and Puthukkuduirippu at about 12:11 pm.
