Chimney lamps, coal irons back in the market after 50 years
Due to the power cuts experienced throughout the country, the chimney lamps and coal irons have re-emerged in the market.
Traders say that after about 50 years, there is a huge demand for chimney lamps and coal irons from consumers and therefore, these items have been brought to the market for sale.
These businessmen said that a chimney lamp is sold for Rs. 1,500, but added that there was a shortage of the bottle section of the lamp. Further, a coal iron is sold for Rs. 2,000.
