Fuel crisis affects parliament
Parliament proceedings have been reduced to two days this week taking into consideration the fuel crisis in the country.
Accordingly, Parliament proceedings will be limited to today (21) and tomorrow (22).
The Leader of the House Dinesh Gunawardena said that the decision was taken by the Committee on Parliamentary Business which met today.
It was also recently decided to close schools in Colombo and surrounding areas due to the fuel crisis.
