A popular Actor cum entrepreneur brutally assaulted by goons of a Government office in Battaramulla
A young popular cum entrepreneur had stepped into an important government office in Battaramulla to verify some details about his travel abroad. There had been some difference of opinion had left the related office recently. A group of members of the staff had followed him and assaulted him brutally injuring him on his face.He had entered hospital for treatment had been forced to be hospitalised for six days during which time he had requested for plastic surgery to remove any scars on his right face area. This story he related when he participated in two television programs in the ITN and HIRU channels recently.
The actor had filed a court case these unscrupulous thugs like employees in this office perhaps political stooges.Thr footages of this incident are clearly shown and could be viewed on the camera concealed television cameras and in his personal mobile.It is learnt that the culprits are fabricating a story that he himself had caused the injured by knocking his face on the counter etc.The actor adds he would not have taken this far but filed action so that this would be not be a precedent to be followed. This could be concluded as some goons ,government stooges have been responsible for this dastardly act a like of which would never be repeated in a government institution.

….The reason for sending this mail is after hearing the pathetic story on the Hiru and ITN television channels related by popular actor and entrepreneur Pathum Ruckshan about assaulting by a group of staff in front of your premises which are available on CCTV and his mobile.It is learnt that Pathum has filed action in courts against some staff members of your department for injuries caused to his cheek area for which he had been hospitalized for six days.During this period had undergone plastic surgery to his cheek insisted by him as it could drastically affect his acting profession.
It is regretted that no apology had been extended to him. He has filed action for damages as this type of thuggery should not be encouraged or practiced especially inside a government office.Such an incident had never been reported in the annals of our history in our media….
