Gamini Senarath to succeed PB?
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has accepted the letter of resignation handed by President’s Secretary Dr. P. B. Jayasundera, ‘The Morning’ has reported.
It also adds that the Prime Minister’s Secretary – Gamini Senarath is tipped to be appointed as the new Presidential Secretary.
Gamini Senarath is one of the closest aide’s of the Rajapaksa family and sources say that this could also hint at a possible change in the Premiership soon.
Meanwhile, it was also earlier reported that Dr. P.B. Jayasundera is tipped to be appointed to a top post in the Finance Ministry from Feb. 01 next year.
