Medicine prices upped by 29%
The Medicines Price Control Committee had granted approval to increase the prices of medicines by 29%.
Announcing yesterday (10) that the government has decided to increase medicine prices, State Minister of Drug Production, Supply and Regulation Prof. Channa Jayasumana stated that the Ministry had decided to introduce the methodology to do so in a fair manner against the value of the dollar.
