Latest revelation on Rambukkana incident

The special police team conducting the investigation into the Rambukkana incident has made a special revelation.

They state that the police teams deployed to control the protesters had used four T56 firearms and had fired 35 T56 bullets.

Meanwhile, six senior police officers, including the IGP, appeared before the Human Rights Commission today (22) to investigate the death of a person during a protest in Rambukkana.

Accordingly, the IGP, the Senior DIG in charge of the Central Province, the SSP in charge of the Kegalle Division, the Rambukkana and the Kegalle OIC appeared before the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka.
