One hour power cuts from today!
The Ministry of Power and Energy states that there will be a one hour power cut for four days from today (04).
It is said that these steps will be taken until the Norochcholai power plant is restored.
Accordingly, electricity will be restricted in some areas from 06 pm to 09.30 pm for one hour.
The Norochcholai thermal power plant also lost power due to a power outage island wide yesterday (03) and it takes around three days for the power plant to reach its full capacity of 900 MW.
