President not at Air Force Commander’s residence -AF
The Sri Lanka Air Force has issued a statement refuting allegations being circulated over social media that President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is at the private residence of Air Force Commander Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana.
The statement by the Air Force Headquarters states that a video released by Ajith Dharmapala, a former police officer who claims to be the president of the International Organization to Devoid Sri Lankan Police from Politics, claimed that the President is staying at the private residence of the Air Force Commander.
The Air Force Headquarters further said that this is a news spread with the aim of damaging the reputation of the Air Force and the Air Force Commander and spreading hatred and anger among the public towards the Air Force.
