President declares Public Transportation an Essential Service
President Ranil Wickramasinghe has issued an Extraordinary Gazette Notification declaring public transportation as an essential service.
This includes passenger and goods transport services by road and rail, as well as the maintenance of roads, bridges, culverts, and railway lines.
