Ranil says he only met Mahinda & Namal
Former PM – Ranil Wickremesinghe has dismissed reports citing that he had met with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa for discussions.
Several senior members had directed asked Mr. Wickremesinghe about this report published by a prominent newspaper, during a morning meeting they had with the party leader.
Responding, the UNP leader has said that out of the Rajapaksa family members, he had only met PM Mahinda Rajapaksa and Namal Rajapaksa recently and that too was at the Navam Perahera festivities held earlier this month.
The report was also dismissed by the UNP media unit.
