Numerous speculations over dancer’s death!
Investigations have been initiated on several fronts regarding the death of beautiful dancer Ivanthika Kumari Herath who had died as a result of hanging, according to the Maharagama Police.
Abhayakoon Mudiyanselage Ivanthika Kumari Herath, a resident of Tharanagolla, Hiriyala, Ambagaswewa, was 28 years old at the time of her death.The police said that they had received a phone call regarding the woman who had been released from the rope she had used to hang herself and brought to hospital on the 12th.
According to the police, they immediately went to the apartment complex and summoned the officers of the Nugegoda Crime Station Laboratory and launched a comprehensive investigation.
The police had also brought the man who had taken the women to hospital to the apartment complex for the investigations.
According to the initial statement given by this man, the woman had been dead by the time she was admitted to hospital.
The man who had brought Ivanthika to hospital is said to be a 40-year-old businessman from Millagoda, Nikaweratiya. He is a married man and father of three children.
