Dhammika to replace Basil?
Well known businessman – Dhammika Perera is to be sworn in as a Cabinet Minister this week, internal government sources say.
According to sources, he will be appointed as the Minister of International Investment and Trade.
It is said that Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – National Organizer Basil Rajapaksa will resign from his National List seat tomorrow (09) after making a special statement.
It is reported that the President had requested Dhammika Perera on several previous occasions to save the country from the crisis by accepting a ministerial post.
In a recent televised interview, Dhammika Perera had said that accordingly, he was ready to accept the challenge.
