Doctor arrested with drugs!
The Anuradhapura Division Criminal Investigation Division states that a doctor who is a former medical health officer and currently runs a private medical center in Anuradhapura city, was arrested with heroin in his possession yesterday (4).
The arrested doctor is a 67-year-old resident of Pubudupura Road, Tihiyagama.
It is reported that the said doctor has been engaged in selling drugs and narcotic pills to school children and youth.
The arrested suspect is scheduled to be produced in the Anuradhapura Magistrate’s Court today.
