Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa says he is not willing to accept a ministerial post under the incumbent government as he does not approve of certain policy decisions taken by the administration.

Speaking during an interview with Deshiya Newspaper, the MP said that he cannot accept a portfolio under such circumstances.

MP Namal Rajapaksa further stated that the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) will announce who it will support in the next Presidential election closer to the elections.

Pointing out that similar to how Ranil Wickremesinghe’s appointment as Prime Minister and President was unexpected a year ago, the MP said it has happened, and that anything is possible in the future. (
