Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) Parliamentarian Vadivel Suresh has been appointed as a Senior Advisor to President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

According to Presidential secretariat, Vadivel Suresh will be responsible on reporting on the full integration of Hill Country Tamils into the Sri Lankan society.

Last week SJB removed Vadivel Suresh as SJB’s Passara Organiser.

The decision was taken in the wake of the Parliamentarian voting in favour during the vote on the second reading of the 2024 Budget.
