Dialog stops Russia Today
Broadcast of Russia Today, an international news channel, has been suspended.
A Russian state sponsored news channel, it was broadcast via Dialog TV in Sri Lanka.However, it is unavailable as of recently.
Dialog stated that they are not receiving satellite signals of the channel and as such are unable to broadcast the channel.
Satellite signals of Russian channels have been blocked due to the Ukraine-Russia War.Dialog has not informed its subscribers of this issue and has replaced it with a German government sponsored channel- Deutsche Welle (WD).
