SAGALA TO HEAD ELECTION CAMPAIGN WHILE NIHAL RANSINGHE REPLACES HIM AS CHIEF OF STAFF

Nihal will be appointed as the chief of staff of the president’s office

 

Reports indicate that Nihal Ranasinghe is slated to be appointed as the new Chief of Staff for the President’s Office.

It is stated that Ranasinghe will be appointed to this position after the appointment of the current chief of staff, Sagala Ratnayake, as the head of presidential election operations of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Nihal Ranasinghe currently holds the position of Secretary of the Ministry of Education.Prior to that, he was a veteran administrative officer who served as the Comptroller General of Immigration and Emigration.
