Sanath Nishantha, Milan remanded further ; Johnston also made a suspect
SLPP MPs Milan Jayathilake and Sanath Nishantha as well as 11 others arrested over their involvement in the attacks on the GotaGoGama and MynaGoGama peaceful protest sites were remanded until June 08 by the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today (01).
The MPs were arrested on May 17.
Meanwhile, SLPP parliamentarian Johnston Fernando, Municipal Councillor Mahinda Kahandagama and two others have been named as suspects in the CID case filed over the attacks on GotaGoGama and MynaGoGama on May 09.
