No intention to appoint Ranil as PM – SLPP 
The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has stated that the party has no intention to appoint UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe as the country’s next Prime Minister.
Speaking at a SLPP media briefing today (28), Ports and Shipping Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena said he was of the opinion that no one in the SLPP is insane to appoint Mr. Wickremesinghe as PM.
Adding his voice, SLPP General Secretary – Sagara Kariyawasam has said that the premiership is already being held by the most suitable person for it.
