Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has been re-elected as the leader of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) at today’s party convention.

MP Gamini Lokuge proposed the former president’s name while MP Johnston Fernando seconded it.

SLPP’s 2nd National Convention was held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo this afternoon (Dec.15).
